Counting Christmas Trees

Fun and Educational, this christmas craft takes a little prep work but is so worth it!

I cut up these little trees and stars out of construction paper this morning and Asher has been working away on his little trees on an off most of the morning.  He did 4 trees and as I write this he is working on a few more.

This is a great way for kids to learn counting skills while making a fun little craft.

What you need:

3-4 sheets of Green construction paper
1 sheet of Yellow construction paper
scissors
pen for tracing trees and stars
pom poms
white glue
news paper or large brown paper bag to contain the glue mess

What and easy and fun craft and learning activity for Kindergarten age.  But if you have younger kids  it would still be fun just to cut out a few trees and have them glue the pom pons to the trees however they like.

Or you could try just counting to three instead of 10!

Now to turn this project into a Christmas decoration by gluing it to a larger sheet of paper!
